ART Shipping Program

 

ART is collaborating with a leading U.S. logistics company to offer our members highly competitive rates for FedEx and LTL shipping. The program is based upon a co-op model whereby everyone benefits from the overall volume of the group.  An experienced customer service team will be on call to assist with tracking, filing claims, and any issues which may occur with our members’ shipments. The customer service team’s direct line, not a call center number, will be provided to ART members who participate in the program.

Who Will Benefit?

Any home furnishings industry ART member including Brick and Mortar Retailers, Interior Designers, Manufacturers and more who wants to realize shipping cost savings. The program is ideal for those who drop ship, send store inventory to customers, or ship orders from web sales. It will allow members to know exactly what actual shipping costs will be for every customer shipment.

How It Works – Small Parcel Shipments:

– The most significant savings are realized through FedEx for small parcel shipments.

– If your company does not have a FedEx account or currently ships less than 50% with FedEx, we are allowed to submit the account for approval. Once approved, the new account will receive significant discounts through the program beginning with the very first shipment.

– If your company already has a FedEx account and FedEx handles more than 50% of the company’s small parcel shipments, your account cannot be rolled into this program. However, the team will provide complimentary consultation and guidance to maximize discounts in your current FedEx contract. They will do a deep dive into your shipping history, dimensions, services utilized, and average zone distribution to identify true shipping costs and assess if you qualify for additional discounts from FedEx.

– If your company uses UPS, the team will conduct an introductory call and provide you with the necessary paperwork to open a FedEx account. They will do an evaluation of your shipment history to help maximize savings and identify true shipping costs even if you choose not to move your account to FedEx.

How It Works – LTL Freight Shipments:

 

– If your company ships LTL, our logistics team will schedule a consultation call to identify areas to maximize savings. You will also be given access to an online shipping portal which will provide multiple comparative quotes. Shipments can be ordered and managed through the portal.
