About the ARTS Awards
The ARTS Awards, produced by the non-profit ART and Dallas Market Center, is a peer-nominated program with online ballots open March–June. Anyone in the home accents industry may participate, submit multiple nominations (including self-nominations), and there are no fees or membership/exhibiting requirements.
The process begins with nominations for retailers, manufacturers, designers, and sales representatives. For 2026, regions have been updated, combining the West and Southwest and expanding the East to better reflect industry excellence. Nominations are accepted through June 25.
Finalists are selected by an industry committee and announced in August, with digital submissions due in November. A panel of five judges scores entries, with a sixth judge from the Sustainable Furnishings Council selecting the Green Award. Winners, including the Academy of Achievement honoree, are announced at the ARTS Awards Gala in January during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.

The HEARTS Awards
HEARTS was created by the Dallas Market Center and ART, the creative home furnishings network, to replace the 2020 ARTS Awards program due to the obstacles of the pandemic. The awards production was in partnership with thirteen leading industry organizations to honor thirteen individuals or companies that have shown outstanding leadership, empathy and service in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. These honorees have gone above and beyond to offer service to their industry and/or community. The HEARTS Awards Gala was held during the June 2021 Total Home & Gift Market in Dallas.
Beginning in 2022, the 32nd ARTS Awards, HEARTS became a permanent award on the ARTS Awards roster. The thirteen original industry organizations submit nominations to the ARTS Awards committee for consideration and this committee will name the annual HEARTS honoree.
